Chili Peppers Rally Late, Beat Glow Mojis 31-26 Under the Black Lights in Allentown
The Cosmic Chili Peppers rallied late to beat the Glow Mojis 31-26 at Coca-Cola Park on May 15, the middle game of a three-night Cosmic Baseball stand in Allentown, according to the Cosmic Sports broadcast.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — For most of Friday night at Coca-Cola Park, the Glow Mojis had the Cosmic Chili Peppers right where they wanted them. Then the home run derbies started piling up runs, and the Peppers rallied late for a 31-26 win on May 15, the middle game of a three-night Cosmic Baseball stand in Allentown.
The final score comes from the scoreboard on the official Cosmic Sports broadcast of the game, which streamed live on YouTube under the title "ALLENTOWN GLOWS UP AGAIN!" When the last derby ended, the Cosmic Sports account put it simply in the stream's live chat: "THE PEPS WIN." Undrafted photographer Samantha Diane was at the ballpark for Friday's game.

A Slow Start in the Daylight
Cosmic Baseball is split into two halves, a day game played under normal stadium lights and a night game played under black lights, according to the rules posted with the broadcast. There is no bunting, no walks, no mound visits, and batters cannot step out of the box. After four balls, the hitter gets a fungo attempt, tossing the ball up to himself. The second inning is played with the bases run in reverse, and the third inning opens with Three Minutes of Chaos, when any ball in the ballpark, including foul balls hit into the stands, stays in play.
The Glow Mojis handled the daylight better and took a lead into the halftime break.

Derbies Turn It Into a Shootout
This is where Cosmic Baseball stops looking like a normal box score. Under the posted rules, a home run derby is held at the end of each cosmic inning, and every homer counts as a run. Each team also bats 11 hitters in the night game, adding a "cosmic hitter" to the lineup.
The derbies blew the game open, but for most of the night they did not close the gap. The Glow Mojis stayed in front into the late innings before the Peppers finally caught up.

Settled in the Final Derby
The final derby settled it, and the Peppers came out of it with the 31-26 win.
"WHAT A DERBY ROUND FOR JALYN LEE," the Cosmic Sports account wrote in the stream's live chat moments after the final derby ended.

Three Straight Nights
Friday's game was the second of three straight nights of Cosmic Baseball in Allentown, with the Peppers and Glow Mojis also meeting on Thursday, May 14, and Saturday, May 16.
The stand itself was a first for the tour. The IronPigs originally announced a May 16 date, added May 15 in November and then added May 14 in December after the first two games sold out with "plenty of individuals still left waiting in the ticket lottery," the organization said, according to Lehigh Valley Public Media. WFMZ-TV reported that the IronPigs were the only stop among more than 30 tour dates granted a third game, making them the first team to host Cosmic Baseball on three consecutive dates. A May 11 IronPigs release said all three dates were expected to reach maximum capacity.
What It Means
Allentown was the tour's second visit to Coca-Cola Park after two sold-out nights in May 2025. The broadcast's description noted that the Chili Peppers had won Month One of the 2026 Cosmic Takeover Tour and that the tour was turning to Month Two with the Lehigh Valley series.
The tour said the 2026 run drew more than 750,000 fans to 74 sold-out games in 30 markets, according to Lehigh Daily. "The energy on our 2026 tour was absolutely electric, blowing past every expectation we set," Cosmic Baseball owner and founder Chris Martin said. The IronPigs announced in October that Cosmic Baseball will return to their ballpark in 2027, with dates still to be set and tickets again going through the tour's lottery.
Friday's game showed why the format keeps selling. The Glow Mojis led for most of the night, and the derbies still left room for the Peppers to go home with the win.
