“I like coming down here because the more I play football, the more I work and the more I get better,” Cory said, flashing a shy but determined smile.

“Making my mom proud and get to go to some good schools…good schools. Making my mom and dad proud. Good schools and go D-I,” he said, repeating his goal like a mantra.

“What that meant to me is me saying that I come here to get more work. It shows that the work is paying off,” Cory added.

Tru Myers: Confidence and Production

While Cory brings a quiet determination, Tru Myers steps onto the field radiating pure confidence.

“I’m him,” Tru declared without hesitation, grinning as he recounted his dominant day on the field.

At Breece Hall’s camp, Tru put on an electrifying performance, scoring four touchdowns and grabbing an interception.

“It’s going good. Got 4 touchdowns, one pick. Showing out right now,” he said, still buzzing with adrenaline.

But Tru knows the work can’t stop here. He’s laser-focused on the bigger picture and how his performance at camps like this can set the stage for his future.

“If you just put on a show, it gets your name out. Because when you go to high school football, they already know how you play. So it can help you better,” Tru explained.

And while his swagger is undeniable, so is his dedication:

“I feel like I just need to keep putting in that work and just keep getting better, keep grinding,” he said.
