Robinson’s stellar performance included sinking a career-best eight 3-pointers, showcasing his prowess as one of the nation’s top shooters.

Robinson’s remarkable achievement placed him among the elite in BYU’s program history as the eighth player to make eight or more 3-pointers in a single game. His hot streak continued, as he has now made at least one 3-pointer in 10 consecutive games since the season opener.

BYU forward Noah Waterman, who also had an outstanding game with 22 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for his first double-double with the Cougars, lauded Robinson’s skills, stating, “Jax is a dangerous man. Dude is one of the best shooters in the country.”

The Cougars’ victory was a stark contrast to their previous game against Utah, where they struggled on the offensive end. Spencer Johnson contributed with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, helping BYU secure their seventh double-digit win of the season.

BYU showcased a balanced performance, shooting 50% from the field and dominating in fast-break points (15-9) and second-chance points (16-9). The team’s hunger to rebound from the previous loss was evident throughout the game.

“Everybody was super hungry to get back out on the court. We know we have a lot to prove, especially after the loss we had last weekend.”

Denver, facing a Top 25 opponent for the second consecutive game, struggled to contain BYU’s offensive firepower. Jaxon Brenchley led the Pioneers with a career-high 21 points and seven rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Cougars’ dominance.
