Lightning Win 10th Straight, Beat Flyers 5-1 in Philadelphia
The Tampa Bay Lightning won their 10th straight game, beating the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1 on Monday at Xfinity Mobile Arena behind two-point nights from Brandon Hagel and Jake Guentzel.

The Tampa Bay Lightning matched the longest win streak of any NHL team this season on Monday, winning their 10th straight game with a 5-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Fast Start in Philly
Pontus Holmberg scored just 70 seconds into the game, firing a loose puck through a screen in front of the Flyers net for a 1-0 lead. The Lightning struck quickly again to open the second period when Jake Guentzel deflected Erik Cernak's point shot past Dan Vladar 33 seconds in.

Brayden Point extended the lead on a power play at 4:29 of the second, burying his own rebound for his 11th goal of the season. Christian Dvorak got Philadelphia on the board during 4-on-4 play, scoring unassisted on a 2-on-1 rush, but Brandon Hagel restored the three-goal cushion with a power-play goal late in the period, roofing a shot through a defender's legs.
Nikita Kucherov added an empty-net goal in the third to complete the 5-1 win.
Two-Point Nights

Hagel and Guentzel each finished with two points to lead the Lightning. Kucherov's goal extended his multipoint streak to nine games. Jonas Johansson made 20 saves for the win, while Vladar stopped 21 of 25 for Philadelphia.
Tampa Bay lost Point to injury in the second period. The night also featured a fight between the Lightning's Max Crozier and Philadelphia's Nikita Grebenkin. The Lightning improved to 28-13-3, while the Flyers fell to 22-13-8. Tampa Bay's win streak continues Tuesday in Pittsburgh against the Penguins.
