Panarin's Four Assists Lead Rangers Past Lightning 7-3
Artemi Panarin had four assists as the New York Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 7-3 on Wednesday for their fifth straight road win.

Artemi Panarin recorded four assists as the New York Rangers earned their fifth straight road win, 7-3 over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday at Benchmark International Arena.
Rangers Pour It On
Vincent Trocheck and Will Cuylle each scored twice for the Rangers, and Adam Fox added two assists. J.T. Miller, Alexis Lafreniere and Will Borgen also scored. Igor Shesterkin made 33 saves.

Trocheck's goals were his first of the season, coming in his fourth game. The Rangers led 4-3 after a wild first period, added one in the second and two more in the third. New York outshot Tampa Bay 36-21 in its highest-scoring game of the season.
The win was the Rangers' second straight and moved them to 9-7-2, with an 8-1-1 road record.
Lightning Pulled Early

Jake Guentzel, Zemgus Girgensons and Scott Sabourin scored for the Lightning, who had won two straight entering the night. Andrei Vasilevskiy allowed a goal on each of the first three shots he faced and was pulled after two periods, finishing with eight saves on 13 shots. Jonas Johansson made six saves in relief.
Tampa Bay also lost forward Brandon Hagel to an undisclosed injury at 7:08 of the first period after a hit from Rangers defenseman Carson Soucy. The Lightning fell to 8-6-2. The Rangers' road trip continues Saturday in Columbus.
