University of Cincinnati women's golfer Ellise Rymer has been awarded a sponsor's exemption into the 2025 Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G — giving the hometown Bearcat a shot at her first LPGA Tour start on the most personal stage imaginable.

Cincinnati steamrolled Baylor 41-20, jumping out 24-0 and never losing control. Brendan Sorsby led with three touchdowns and 85 rushing yards as the Bearcats piled up 265 on the ground. Sophomore Nathan Taylor struck out nine over seven strong innings, and freshmen Quinton Coats and Derrick Pitts combined for four RBIs to lead No. 8 seed Cincinnati past Texas Tech, 6–5, in the opening round of the Big 12 Championship. The Bearcats advance to face top-seeded West Virginia on Thursday.
