Joaquin Niemann Wins LIV Golf Singapore by Five as Fireballs GC Make It Three Straight
Joaquin Niemann closed with the only bogey-free round of the day, a 65, to win LIV Golf Singapore by five, while Fireballs GC rallied from eight back for a third straight team title.

The Sunday duel at Sentosa never really showed up. Joaquin Niemann made sure of that before the turn.
Niemann closed with a bogey-free 6-under 65 on the Serapong Course to win LIV Golf Singapore at 17-under 196, five shots clear of defending champion Brooks Koepka. Dustin Johnson, who started the day tied with Niemann, slid to a 73 and a share of fifth. In the team competition, Sergio Garcia's Fireballs GC erased an eight-shot deficit with a 10-under final round to win at 22 under, three ahead of Legion XIII, for a third straight team title.
Niemann Ends It Early
The pregame storyline was a rematch of the 2022 Boston playoff Johnson won. The actual round was a clinic. Niemann birdied the opening hole of the round, then added four more between the fourth and eighth, and by the middle of the round the Torque GC captain was playing against the scoreboard rather than the player alongside in the final group.
That 65 was the only bogey-free card of the final round, per LIV Golf, and it capped a week of 67, 64 and 65. It is Niemann's second individual title of 2025 after the win in Adelaide and the second in the last three LIV events, and it moves the Chilean to the top of the season-long individual standings.
"Today was one of those days," Niemann said.
When it was over, Torque teammate Sebastián Muñoz greeted Niemann on the 18th green with a champagne shower, a fitting finish for a team that finished fourth at 16 under.
Johnson's Sunday Fade
Johnson had a chance at history: no player had won an individual title in all four LIV seasons. The final round never cooperated. Johnson made two bogeys on the front nine and two more on the back, signed for a 2-over 73, and fell into a five-way tie for fifth at 9 under with Louis Oosthuizen, Jon Rahm, Cameron Tringale and Muñoz.
It was a frustrating end to a week that began with a 63 and a three-shot lead, but the bigger picture is still encouraging for the 4Aces GC captain. A week after finishing last in Hong Kong, Johnson spent most of Singapore at or near the top of the board.
Koepka and the Climbers
Koepka's title defense came alive late. The Smash GC captain matched Niemann's 65 to finish solo second at 12 under, despite admitting the ball-striking was not there. "Not really hitting it great," Koepka said.
Ben Campbell of RangeGoats GC was third at 11 under after a 67, and Fireballs GC's David Puig grabbed solo fourth at 10 under with a 66 that included five straight birdies from the ninth through the 13th. Bryson DeChambeau, who opened with a 74, closed 65 and 67 to finish in a tie for 10th.
Rahm's tie for fifth also came with a piece of history. Rahm's closing 67 made it 21 straight under-par rounds, one more than DeChambeau's previous LIV record of 20.
Fireballs Do It Again
The team race looked settled on Saturday night. The 4Aces led by five over HyFlyers GC and by eight over Fireballs GC. Then the 4Aces went 2 over on Sunday, with Johnson and Thomas Pieters both shooting 73, and the door swung open.
Fireballs walked through it. Puig's 66 led the charge, Luis Masaveu shot 68 and Abraham Ancer added 69. Garcia, battling bronchitis all week, shot even par on Sunday and even par for the tournament, and the other three carried their captain. The 10-under team round tied Legion XIII for the best of the day and gave Fireballs a 22-under total, good for a three-shot win.
"This week was a tough week because I've been sick all week and haven't been able to help the team as much as I would have liked to," Garcia said.
It is Fireballs' third straight team title, following wins in Adelaide and the Hong Kong sweep a week ago, and the longest streak since 4Aces GC won four in a row in 2022. Puig now owns eight LIV team wins, the most of any player. "I love team golf," Puig said.
The Rest of the Board
Legion XIII finished second at 19 under after a 10-under Sunday led by Tyrrell Hatton's 66 and Rahm's 67. The 4Aces held on for third at 18 under, ending yet another week without a trophy despite leading for two rounds. Torque GC was fourth, and Crushers GC climbed to fifth at 13 under with an 8-under final round. HyFlyers GC, second overnight, went 4 over on Sunday and dropped to seventh at 11 under, so the wait for a first team title goes on.
What It Means
Niemann leaves Singapore as the hottest player in LIV Golf, with two wins in the first four events and the individual standings lead. Fireballs leave with a streak that is starting to look like a dynasty run, and with a chance to match the 4Aces' four-in-a-row run from 2022 at LIV Golf Miami next month. For Johnson and the 4Aces, it is another reminder of how quickly a lead can disappear when every score counts.
