After falling behind 14–0 early, UTSA flipped the First Responder Bowl on its head, ripping off 38 straight points and cruising to a dominant 57–20 win over FIU. Owen McCown threw three touchdowns and Will Henderson III scored three times as the Roadrunners capped their season with a third straight bowl victory.
